Zane Whitfield is a commentary and pop-culture creator with 2.3M subscribers on YouTube and a rapidly growing TikTok. He approached SCROLLZ to help him establish a daily content presence on short-form without sacrificing the quality and pacing his long-form audience expects.
The challenge
Zane's team had been manually cutting clips from his long-form videos — a slow, inconsistent process that produced content that felt like leftover footage rather than a standalone piece. Scripting for TikTok was also an issue: Zane's natural long-form style didn't translate well to sub-60-second formats, causing sharp drops in watch time.
Our solution
SCROLLZ implemented a full clipping and repurposing workflow, extracting 5–7 high-retention clips per long-form upload within 24 hours of each drop. Our scripting team created TikTok-specific hooks and punchy structure templates that Zane could batch-record in two hours per week. Short-form editing applied motion and text overlays tuned for silent viewing. Within 6 weeks, Zane's TikTok grew from 180K to 410K followers.
