Lumi Skincare, a direct-to-consumer brand rapidly gaining traction among Gen Z audiences, partnered with SCROLLZ ahead of their hero product launch — the Dewy Glass Serum. The goal was to build an instantly recognizable content identity and generate viral awareness across TikTok and Instagram Reels within a tight three-week window.

The challenge

Lumi had the product, the branding, and a micro-influencer network — but their content was flat. Clips were unengaging in the first two seconds, audio felt disconnected from the visuals, and the color palette didn't translate well to mobile screens. Their previous agency delivered templated edits that looked identical to every other skincare brand on the feed.

Our solution

SCROLLZ overhauled Lumi's entire content pipeline. We delivered 24 short-form edits tailored to TikTok and Instagram hook psychology — each opening with a pattern-interrupt in the first 0.8 seconds. Color grading was calibrated to enhance skin tones against pastel backgrounds for a high-retention visual style. Audio finetuning brought out crisp product ASMR moments layered under trending sounds. The result: 3 videos crossed 1M views organically within 10 days of launch.
