Ember Studios is an independent production company that creates cultural documentary content. They partnered with SCROLLZ to post-produce a three-part YouTube documentary series on emerging street artists, as well as a supporting Instagram campaign to build pre-release anticipation.

The challenge

Ember's directors had extraordinary raw footage but weak post-production infrastructure. Their internal editor lacked the motion graphics skill needed to bring their vision to life, scripted narration was dry and didn't match the energy of the subject matter, and the audio mix — with heavy ambient sound and voice-over — was muddy and inconsistent across the three episodes.

Our solution

SCROLLZ brought full post-production capability to the series. Motion graphics were designed to feel hand-crafted and analog — matching the street art subject matter — using a custom typeface system and ink-bleed transitions. Scripting elevated the narration from journalistic to cinematic, giving each episode a distinct emotional arc. Audio finetuning balanced ambient texture, interview audio, and score into a cohesive mix. All three episodes launched within the same week and collectively reached 2.1M views in the first 30 days.
